There are more than 50 Chinese herbal medicines in 8 provinces and municipalities, including more than 100 in Guangdong and Gansu. At present, the quality management level of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces is different, showing a pyramid shape, and good and medium enterprises are in the upper third of the pyramid.
Representatives of Chinese medicine decoction enterprises believe that the implementation of the new version of GMP will further help to ensure the quality and safety of good drugs from the source. On the one hand, it is conducive to promoting the survival of the fittest, mergers and acquisitions, bigger and stronger, further adjusting the layout of enterprises, purifying the pharmaceutical market, preventing vicious competition, and ensuring the safe and effective needs of people's medications; on the other hand, it is also conducive to the international standards of pharmaceutical GMP. In line with the situation, we will speed up the international recognition of China's pharmaceutical production and the pace of entry of drugs into the international mainstream market.
