Bozhou traditional Chinese medicine import and export testing center is a public testing service platform built according to national laboratory standards, integrating production, study and research, and a third party specialized testing organization of traditional Chinese medicine. The center covers an area of 10 mu, with a total construction area of more than 5,000 square meters. The design and decoration are of high standard and modernization. The design of department layout and equipment installation are all expertly demonstrated. The center has 50 testing and R&D personnel, including 5 graduate students, 31 undergraduates, 7 intermediate titles, and 7 licensed pharmacists. With imported gas chromatograph, high performance liquid chromatography, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, atomic fluorescence photometer, GC/MS, microwave digestion instrument, inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometer, PCR instrument, gel imaging system, millions of points One of the electronic days is a series of advanced testing equipment and complete testing standards at home and abroad, and has a testing environment that meets the requirements of domestic and international standards. It can carry out heavy metals, pesticide residues, sulfur dioxide, aflatoxins, content determination in Chinese herbal medicines. More than 200 testing items, such as moisture, ash, volatile oil and leachate, basically cover the main testing requirements for domestic and export Chinese herbal medicines at home and abroad. At present, it has provided high-quality Chinese herbal medicine testing and technical services to more than 400 pharmaceutical companies and 138 individual pharmaceutical companies.
In January 2011, the Center was jointly awarded by the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce and the Anhui Provincial Department of Finance to the “Public Inspection and Testing Center for the Export of Industrial Clusters of Chinese Medicine in the North of Fujian”; in October 2011, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products agreed to the Center as a “medicinal plant”. And the designated inspection agency for the formulation of foreign trade and economic green industry standards; in 2013, the center was designated as the designated testing institution for the “Quality and Safety Demonstration Zone for Exporting Chinese Herbal Medicines in Wucheng District of Zhangzhou City” and assumed the construction of quality control system for the demonstration area. In June 2018, the key laboratory for the manufacture of traditional Chinese medicine decoction pieces in Anhui Province was listed in the center.
The Center always adheres to the quality policy of “scientific, fair, accurate and efficient”, strictly abides by and implements the national laws, regulations and relevant technical regulations and standards concerning product quality supervision and inspection, and adheres to the principles of impartiality, scientificity and authority. High-quality testing services and accurate testing data serve the import and export trade of Chinese herbal medicines throughout the province and the whole country, and eventually become a national-level medical public service platform.
